Sweet Sleep

I don't tend to sleep so sweet

So I wish people wouldn't wish me 'sweet dreams'

As if their words alone were enough inebriation

As if the nightmares wouldn't come either way

So I guess it's nice that I don't remember half my dreams

So I guess it's nice my sleeps have been so silent

Except for the nightmares; they spring up like weather

And that changes every so often so

Well. I don't sleep well

Screw your sweet dreams, I come from nightmares

And nightmares don't rest all
