Sweet surrender

I've been feeling so much pain and sorrow So much heart ache I'm drained

I cannot stand I cannot wake from this hazy state
I run for the door and hope that I'll never have to face this hurt again
I long for a playful day with rainbows accompanied by the rain to wash away the pain
Trust love and peace is all I long to cultivate
I wish not to hurt the one i love
Why does she think it so?
Help me to clarify my hearts desires
For I love her so
I only yearn for her happiness
I cannot be her lover no more
I can be her steadfast stead when she needs
Intimate and sexual relations must not be
This does not mean we cannot be the best of friends forever for you see I love her so... She doesn't even know
