The Sweetest Thing
Everyone talks about it
Why won't you be about it
This angry hand that you raise
Does nothing but appraise
It appraises our love
How worthless it is
How it hurts to stick around
How can I run away
from someone who takes care of me
How can I stop from crying
when you hurt me
I thought you loved me
How dare you hurt me?
There's no love, no warmth
There's tears, there's pain
Right now, the sweetest thing is the bliss
The bliss of finally running away...
