Sweetness

she’s got herself covered

blueberry stained fingerprints

chocolate smeared front teeth

her dress smells of honey

and mama’s Boston cream

she stuffs her cheeks to hold her tongue

but all of the treats in the world

could not make her any more

a sweet little girl
