Swift Winds

Dear Jacob,

I don't know it's my morbid taste in music that you've inspired or the fact that I've carried your presence with me across Europe, but as I left each country, my eyes filled with tears. I torture myself by listening to your songs and some of my own that reinforce your presence. I'm so happy that I was able to have you with me as we made our way around Europe. I wish you could of seen Lucerne. The mountians Jake, oh you would have loved them. I can picture your mannerisms and see your reactions to it all, especially the mountain goats :). I had a journal to document my travels, but as I make my way with the majority of our class back to the airport I can only think of saying something to you. I see you in every new adventure; the towers we raced up to view Germany from a crazy height, the fields we passed by, the sea we traveld over, and the towering peaks of Switzerland. I don't think there will ever be a time that something doesn't remind me of you. I love you Jake, and even though you can't physically travelt this world anymore, we, your frinds have happily carried the dream for you.
