Swim, Fight, Drown

Every time I drown you

You start to swim

The demons that haunt me

Come from within

They grasp and pull me just below

So I get pulled into the undertow

Gasping, fighting I try to breath

As I get pulled way down deep

The darkness comes like a gallant steed

alas not here to rescue me

but to pull me down into the deep

                                                             gasping, fighting, trying to breath
