Swimming in the Sky, Flying in the Sea

Have you looked at the skies from the heavens

When up becomes down

Rising into lucid water

With your eyes above the clouds?

Misty darkness shrouds you

When starlight fades away

When you see the end of the shadows

And the sun bursts through

Flickering through the watery grave

Little lights peep down at you

While, futilely, the water grasps at gold

Keeping the light from your view

Yet when the water disappears

And all the eye can see

Is darkness

When the end of the darkness hits you

Your toes freeze cold, your breath

Seems to stop

And so I soar among the fish in the deep blue

With winged monsters surrounding me

I look down

To see the reversed sky

Reflected in the heaven's eyes
