Against the flow, defying nature, mustering all its strength

Yet it does what it was Called to do, ensuring the success of the next generation

Yet she slaves over the stove without complaint for all who are hungry for the Word

Lynn swims agains the current

Bone and muscle degeneration robbing his family of mobility and strength

Yet he trains daily, pushing back the clock, sharing his Salvation with all who'll listen

Ellie swims against the current

Brain cancer stealing her hair at age 11, burdening her loved ones with duty and debt

Yet she stayed the course, survived treatments, and and sings the song of those Redeemed

I will swim against the current

Against the challenge, defying disappointment, mustering strength against defeat

Yet I will do what I must to ensure honor and glory to the Spirit of Hope
