Swollen eyes

Quite the game we play. A competition at it's best. Neither one of us wanting to lose. But no one wins do they. No there are no winners in this game. Only broken hearts ..and swollen eyes. We use it as an upper hand. Who hurt who. Well in the end does it matter. We both lost. But no one's a loser. Not in this game. No one goes home empty handed. We both leave ..emptier than when we started.
