The Sword
Drip, drip, drip goes the blood,
Down the black and silver sword.
It has taken life.
Through it sleep was given.
Through the eyes.
The hope through the cold icy eyes,
Gives light to blood.
It has been given,
By the sword.
So comes death,
By killing life.
The killing of life,
Opens the eyes.
Heart takes death.
Joy is in the blood
Which was granted by the sword,
So sweetly given.
Sweet, sweet sleep was given.
When taken was life.
Taken by the ancient sword.
The clear icy eyes,
Watched the blood,
Be welcomed by death.
By the gates stood death.
Waiting to be given.
Waiting for the blood.
Wishing to kill life.
Through the sad eyes.
With the bitter sword.
The black and silver stained sword,
Helps quicken death.
Helps close the cold, clear, sad, icy eyes.
Which was so sweetly given?
By the ending of life.
As the crimson spread of blood.
The cold eyes belong to the sword.
Blood is a part of death.
