Symphony of Letting Go

1 breath.

2 steps.

3 stop.

Mussels brittle and cold, hands shaking and stiff, tounge twisting for words.

1 step closer.

2 steps almost.

3 steps there.

Head throbbing with regret, legs shaking from fear, heart aching from despair.

1 word. Time.

2 words. To Say.

1 last word. Goodbye.

Mind searching, memories fading, soul finally reaching.
