Glass eyes

Transparent to the naked eye

Windows to the soul and back

But you'll never understand her pain

She's above assigning blame

Like a wave it'll wash over her

She'll rise up from the tummult of the raging sea

She understands what it menas to drown

She knows better then to count on men with capes

But her glass eyes reveal the ocean within her

The depths of the sea know her sorrow

Her face is misleading

The waves in her eyes show the truth.
