Tag You're It

Love is a game. Not like monopoly, not at all. It's more like a game of tag but here's the catch, there's no tag backs! You keep running, like a dog searching for a ball. You're searching for that one special person who can make your heart skip a beat. Then when you finally tag them, you feel that sense of accomplishment, like you just conquered the world. But wait, no tag backs. The person runs away from you as if you were some kind of monster and leaves with a piece of your heart. Not once trying to give it back. It's all just a game. You never know when it's real, but once you realize it you've already drowned yourself in tears and pain.
