Tainted Butterfly


His thought was haunting,
His anger terrifying
His shouts echoed through my mind.
As tears escaped from my eyes,
Hands moved on their own.
The knife stabbed the beast.
Soon I found Joy-
Shrouded in the colour of Blood at least.
"Run! Run! " said the Mind.
Run. Run did the feet.
Soul trembling in the body,
I grew wings and became Free.
Broken shackles, gone the slavery,
I found liberation in that sinister forest.
Dark sky turned blue.
All terror was gone, left was only my secret truth...
