Take 2
Hello past me, I still have the same name as i did back then,
but the name doesn't match the face anymore.
The name doesnt match the face anymore,
but the name matches whom I have become.
The past me wouldn't stick up for myelf, or what I believe in,
the past me wouldn't try in school., or take part in anything.
But that's not me anymore,
who i am now stciks up for what she believes in,and trys in school.
The new me takes part in everything i can and i joke around wiht friends,
the firends whom excepted me for who i am,
and whom i have become, not who the expect me to be,
becuase they expect nothing out of me but to be the best I can.
The people I used to be friends with told me "i've chaged."
and all I do is look at them and say "yes, yes I have."
That's when they say "we dont like who you've become."
That's when I get angry.
I look at them and say with a little stronger voice this time,
"Good, i don't askfor you to like whom i've become because I
no longer feel the need to be exceped by you, becase i've
finally been excepted by me."
