"To Take"

What else must you require of me?

More of my time, that I will have to steal from my family?

My money, that already belongs to creditors?

My dreams, which have burned away?

My hope, which is already borrowed?

My spirit, that cannot be bottled?

My freedom, that is just an illusion?

My heart, which is away to be repaired?

My everything, which seems to already be someone else’s?

What more is there to take from me?

And receive nothing in return?

Go away; I have nothing more for you.

Leave me my reality.
