Take It Easy

Take it easy

He would say

As we walked out the door

After a kiss

Goodbye

Whether we leave for a week

Or leave for the park

He’d say it

That was his special way

Of saying he cared

He’d say it from the

Bedroom

From the kitchen

Or from the door

Take it Easy

I’m going to miss hearing him

Say his special goodbye

Because. Now he’s up there

In the heavens

Taking it easy
