Take It From Me... Never Wake

He came to me in a dream His name I breathed upon my lips I woke and he was there Not a vision robed in grey But, a man dreaming as well I had been lying next to him Tighly clasping to his chest We had been dreaming upon the same bed of roses He stirred in his deep sleep a smile on his face, but my name never on his lips I wondered if he were to wake if he would still be smiling so sweetly The bed we dreamnt upon no longer buded sweet crimson but served only to remind me of the mortality of the night
