Take a Look Through My Lens

Life is one hell of a journey.

Good days are cherished, the bad are erased;

The crazy are gossiped, the dumb are learned from.

But the ones that are worth remembering

Are the ones that should be taken care of.

A photographer I would be,

With the photos as flimsy trophies;

In order to give proof that what was occurring

Was magical, magnificent.

These candid moments, though not rehearsed

Possess a sorcerous urge inside of me

To keep going, keep taking pictures

Of these unforgettable moments.

Albums are all over my household,

From my birth to eighteen.

Pictures inside that capture my emotions so clearly,

And they will live on for eternal bliss.

My goal is to make other people happy.

When they forget the feelings they once had,

Whether on a birthday or wedding,

And see the picture in its finest, unrehearsed hour,

And maybe set a spark again.
