Take the Mask Off

Take the Mask off and show them who you really are 

I'm supposed to be a shining star

But somtimes I doubt and wander if there's more

What happens if I open that door 

And take that leap into reality 

So I can be the man that I truly want to see

The Mask that I wear is not nice 

It's a beautifully horrid disguise, for me

Look at me while I'm most vunerable 

This is where I'm most uncontrolable

Friends think fun and giddy 

Even I try to be what they see

Especially in a pew 

This Mask gives me the hardest view
