Take Me

Take me back to the days of innocence, Take me back to the days of joy. Take me back to the blue sunny skies. Take me back to the soft green grass. Take me back to the days before the loss of passion, the simplicity of just a cap and goggles. Take me back to the days before the shattered hearts, the days when I believed in love and trust. Take me back to the days of ignorance, before the knowledge of reality set in. Take me back to the days of safety, before I was afraid of being in my own skin. Take me back to the real me, the days where life was worth living. Take me to the future, the days where nothing can stop me.

I really do like this poem! It is very well made and it really gives a great perspective on the world we live in and that yearning to be a kid and how much the world has changed. :)
