Take Me Away
Take me away, from the pain inside. I hold it in under all my pride. I can not break, I can not cry. The salt in my tears stings my eye. I will survive but I lied. I lied so well I believed myself. I will not crack, I will not shake, but I lied. I cracked. I'm so irate! But I won't complain. I lied that was so plain. I can not hide it. It's in my eyes. Bitter on my tongue, the words have stung. But I didn't mean them. I tried to stop before I had begun. This is why I say take me away. Take me away, I pray
