Take Me Back

We are all born with these negative things that make us feel insure, irrelevant. A thought that pushes us away to a place we once swore could never take us, break us. Looking back as kids I recollect preaching how drugs weren’t for us, running around playing dress up. My dolly to my left we didn’t even wear makeup. Baggy pants, hair up we gave no fucks. What happened to us, so innocent and found in a world where darkness only circled us, never consumed us. Do you ever just sit back and contemplate how your life would be without the stress of messing up? Just take me back to a time where id wake up, smile, and think i can’t wait to be grown up. Having no clue what life had in store for any of us.
