Take me as I am
Take me as I am.
You say you fall for my smile,
But you're also the reason why I weep at night.
You love the context behind my words,
But you're the one who makes me fear to speak.
You enjoy my company,
But the happiness in that company is limited.
Take me as I am because this is me.
I can build buildings for you,
But you want skyscrapers.
I can give you the stars and moon,
But you want all the galaxies and planets.
My efforts count as a grain of rice to you
So take me as I am or don't take me at all.
