Take Me As I Am

I may not be the best to look at,

And my list of sins is a thousand miles wide.

I'm not a picture perfect human being,

And sometimes I take these way to far.

I want you to see that my legs are broken,

Yet still I stand.

There's one thing I ask of you,

Just take me as I am.

I seem to wear my mistakes upon my skin,

It's harder than it looks,

Hiding the monster I harbor within.

I think I just might be a monster within a man,

So long I've been hiding,

Please take me as I am.
