A take on my given name

N.I.C.H.O.L.A.S.

nEVER IS CALMING, HENCE OLD LIES ASSIMILIATE SIGHT.

iS CALM HEROIC OR LYING ASSANINATED? SLEEPLESS NIGHT.

cOOL HEAD'S ORIFICE LIVING APPRECIATED, SIMPLE NOTHINGS INSIDE.

hAS OFTEN LISTENED AFFECTIONATELY SO NOTHING INTERFERES. CUT

oPEN LEGIONS APPARENTLY, SO NOTHING INFECTS CALM. HOWEVER

lESSER APOLOGIES SUFFER NEVER INSPIRING COOLER HEADS OPENING.

aS SUCH, NICE ISN'T COLLECTIVE. HOWEVER OFTEN LOST,

sOMETHING NEEDED IS CAREFULLY HARVESTED, OBLITERATED, LEFT ALONE.

Olas Ross

Born in Las Vegas, NV, grew up in West-Central Wisconsin, currently living between Central Texas and a hard place. I've been bouncing around the country since I can remember and see no other option for the rest of my life. Became a homeless youth in 2009 and now homelessness is a spiritual choice, not an economic drawback. Don't frown on me or those who have worn these shoes, unfortunately for me the opposite doesn't hold as true. I will judge and dismiss the materialists, the narcissists and anyone who's code of ethics seems unfit. So what's my code? Have faith, be brave and behold. Don't like the word God. Not a fan of gossip, politics, religion, celebrity or you. Synonyms of fraud. Every barrel I point at you I point equally at myself. I'm another one of many. I have a beard, from time to time. I'm a tall, skinny, tattoed white boy that has had too much good happen to let all of the bad dictate how I'm going to act. If you read this through I would like to thank you. If you heard me speak this you'd realize that this is a poem also.
