Take My Name

When it happened, I left my name

for you to remember and took your words instead.

I continue to garggle your whispers of love in my throat

so that I can keep the taste of your presence.

I hope you took my name and engraved it in your memory.

The memory that once played you for a fool and punished you

with a blank face when you saw mine.

I will never forget to remember

when your mind tossed me out without your consent.

All those words we searched for in a book,

but I just sought for yours.
