Take The Shot

Clouds are melting
White rain pelting
Blood is falling
It's my calling

Children crying
Mothers dying
How could it get any worse?

So take the shot
It's all we've got
Hold your head high
Say goodbye
Cause honey, you're coming with me

I've given you time
I've given you love
And I'm collecting the dimes
Until I see our little white dove

So take the shot
Cause I forgot
What it is to be me
What it is to be free
