TAKE A STEP

There is total darkness

I can't see

I can't feel 

I am in total despair

I am scared,so afraid of the unknown

I see a a light 

A tiny bit of brightness

It is approaching

It is widening

It is brightening

It has made me glow

Now I see the better me

Should I approach this brightness?

I am having second thoughts 

I am hesitating because though the darkness is ominous it hid me yet  it crippling

The darkness binds me

It has cast me bondage 

Oh but the light cast a glow on me 

It draws me close so I take a few steps towards it and I'm envelop in total brightness

Now I'm in the light 

It is magnificent yet I step close with faith

Are you in darkness?

Are you scared?

You don't have to be in the dark

The light of the Lord is here
