Take A Step Back

I see the man sitting on the park bench,

homeless with nothing left to claim.

I see all the people on the side-walk

bad side of town hoping for a simple job

to pay for something as simple as food for the day.

I see the woman walking out of the doctors office

trying not to cry from news that she has cancer.

I see a girl who's mother passed away at birth and

her father blames it on her everyday.

I see people who are lost and don't know God.

I see so many of this everyday but

the real question is do others.

Empathy.

It is such a powerful thing that could mean the difference.

If only you could take time out of youre day to do it.

You complain that there is so many wrong instances

that are happening in this world.

Are you changing it? Or are you just sitting there hoping

it will change itself.

Empathy. It makes a difference in somone elses life.

All you got to do is try.

I agree. If you want something to change, don't just sit there and complain. Actually do something to change the situation. Good poem
