Take this with you.

Take this with you.

What else couldn't you live without?

Other than life itself?
Can you guess what life's all about?
The themes of life you look for in yourself
It's what makes your heart
Turn someone into a work of art.
It shifts the stars in the sky
Into those blue eyes you obsess over.
It's that terrifying thing that can awaken you
To your fears, your doubts, no matter a lot or a few.
That heartbreak you can't put into words
Is the same heartbreak that you slice your palms open on picking up your shattered pieces.
It's the bullet you put in her clock
Because if you had to kill time you'd kill it with her
It's the shock of a flower
Blooming in a dark room.
It's as unpredictable as the weather,
Just like the tornado storms and sunshine rays of your love.
It is as irreplaceable as the dimples of your smile, the rasps of your laugh, the crinkles of your nose when you focus.
It's worth more than food, air, and water combined.
It's not why we exist, it's the reason we try to exist, so that we can live for it.
Have you guessed it yet?
Or have these illustrations betrayed me?
The thing one thing that we can't live with out is simple really.
Like the alphabet
Poetry.
