Taken Away

Sometimes those imaginary places you hide in only make it worse You think of the worse when hoping for the best Disowning she says Leaving this place and never coming back Tired of everyone even her own family Driving to a destination in a storm that won’t settle does nothing for her Three words, four words, no matter how many words you count it won’t be enough to catch her Before she lifts off and flies south for the winter Nothing falls from her face Where you would hope to see tears You only see indentions that her hopeful smile leaves She is happiest as can be Never seen so much joy in her To leave everything and go to nothing Worse thing is I have never seen her happier All that anger that boiled up in her slowly leaked out No longer mad can't even find the reason why she was angry So ready to leave everything behind In one’s opinion you would say the next time this happens she will be gone and never coming back Why would one leave their loved ones only to be alone? To be alone for the rest of your life is as much pain as anger Stay for all the times that you were happy Stay for all the times that you ever laughed Wanting to leave such treasures behind is demeaning You want to be sad cry with me Cry on my shoulder and let me comfort you Even the people who want to be left alone still needs someone No watch necessary, the next time she goes to that imaginary place she will take you with her
