Takers
Constantly starving,
Only surviving,
Is an obligation,
A savage need for living life indicating,
The truth among lies,
And sprawling on dirt floors to defy,
All that stands in our way,
Left in this world to roll the dice,
We know we have something to say,
Our reply,
We treasure everything,
Believe that the world is gold if not then become what's necessary to make your own,
That's the righteous path we were shown,
Because blown beyond all preportions,
Is how the world of our fortunes was laid,
So we made our beds there,
a promise land with no heir,
With no judicial system the unclear, what's fair?
Just the "What's left" after the previous generation has taken all,
More than necessary both the carrot and the stick,
And now all we have left is a tree branch and a vegetable,
What do you expect us to make of all this,
Money, fame, fortune, or a derranged mind,
Cause that's all we've been left with,
What a strange find,
Finding out that we're the next,
So we change pinesol cleaners to remove the stench of a grown mind,
Take,
More than you can hold you can grasp you can acheive,
Take,
everything they say, it's blasphemous, make a lead,
Take,
more than what they say,
what they do holds precedent too,
Take,
more than you can speak of cause we bleed potential beyond what is shown,
Take,
Because we have to build on "just this" and make scyscrapers in reams and hopes and consciously keeping an imagination they can't take a picture of,
Take,
So no artist can rival your thoughts keep them blind to the visual,
Take,
Everything the world has to offer,
Believe you own the oyster,
It's all about the profit.
Take.
