Taking a Break

It's okay to tell them no

It's ok to say you can't do it 

It's ok to say enough 

It's ok to take a break 

There's just too much expected 

Too many people clamoring for time 

Too many pressures 

It's too exhausting

So I'm saying no

I can't do this 

I'm saying enough 

I'm taking a break 

I'm not sorry if I cancel plans 

I'm not sorry if you're bored 

I'm not sorry I'm not there 

I'm not sorry for my actions 

Because I need this 

I need time 

I need to let some of this go 

I need a break 

So don't get mad 

don't take this out on me 

don't demand answers 

just take a break with me, it's much nicer
