Taking a Step

Here I am, Finally!, A second before I take that step, I reflect, My eyes perceive multiple worlds, They form into questions, Like "Will I succeed from this step?", or "Will I perish from an unthinkable action I will soon regret?", Hopes and Nightmares, True and False, What should we believe to be the right action?, The rail before me opens a new door, Shall I confide beneath the handles to shadow my figure?, or should I reveal myself to the new opportunities awaiting outside?, It is time to make a decision, Take a step forward, Or take a step back?, The choice is yours to make.
