Taking The Time

The words are there In the back of my mind

Buzzing like bees And so I take the time

The time to appreciate the good and the bad

The time to look up at the sky and think about all the world has to offer

And what you have to offer it in return

Time to write all of my dreams, my goals, and fantasies...

But also time to write out my guilt, anger, and frustration at the world

And to take the time that I can express those dream, goals, doubts, and frustrations

When many others can't To be yourself you have to take the time

And when I take the time the buzzing of those bee-like words slows

And I am myself
