Tale of a broken heart
The Tale of a Broken Heart
I know the tale of a broken heart because I wrote it
to look around one day and realize that everything you knew about a person was wrong
to sit down and think about how everything you had with this person is gone
I know the tale of a broken heart cause I wrote it
to remember all the time that you shoulda left and you coulda, but you wouldn't go
then feel sorry for yourself because when it's all said and done. you know what you know
I know the tale of a broken heart cause I wrote it
all those times i cried about and I screamed about it but nobody could hear me
I could tell my story a million times and nobody could feel me
I had to let go, let growth, and put my pieces back together
I know the tale of a broken heart because I wrote it
