Tale Of A Mad Man

I bellow to the wind hence forth crying out in agony, I call forth to the last remains of my shattered sanity. Asking it to please take this guilt far from me. And never let it cross my path for it will bring back such scornuful misery. I try to remember happier memories, but what memories do I have that do not make me feel guilty? What feelings do I have left that don't hinder me, or take away even more of my sanity. Because i was once a man striving for beauty now broken I stand today laying in my own stupidity. Pacing the cold corridors insanely. Talking to all the walls surrounding me. Staring at the reflection of my greatest enemies. All three that have been surrounding me. But as I talk to them they're only here for thine eyes to see. But as the spectators look at me with such pity I look back to them with such humility. Because my suffering goes far beyond what they're eye can see, and will never end until THEY TAKE THIS MAD MAN AWAY FROM ME! I cry forth please return my sanity to me so I can once again believe... oh simply just believe in me!

Christian Spence

I have been writing poetry since age 5 where I first learn to turn my pain into a beautiful art work that could speak more words then anything I could ever speak. I am passionate about writing because in writing I found the voice which had been hidden for so long.
