Tale as Old as Time

Tale as old as time

A few years down the road

Somebody bends again

Now, barely even friends

Beauty and the Beast

Just a little change

Not small to say the least

Belle’s a little scared

She is always prepared

For the wrath of the Beast

Tale as old as time

Tune as old as song

Bitter, cruel and strange

Finding you can’t change

Thinking you’re not wrong

They say wealth magnifies

Who you are inside

I’m sure wealth of looks applies

Now Beast’s easy on the eyes

But nothing changed except his hide

He’s still cruel inside

Emotional abuse is real

It's easily concealed

But Belle is smart and strong

She will not be coerced

Beauty and the beast are getting a divorce
