Talk to me

Talk to me

because I can't live within the unknown

Talk to me

because I get lost within my own mind

Tell me what you feel and why you feel it

so that I am able to hold you through the storm

Yell at me when you don't like what I'm doing

and whisper songs in my ear as I fall asleep

Allow each conversation we have to mean something

whether we can fix it or whether you are ready to leave

Let me know when you are leaving

so that I can say "I love you" before the door closes

Tell me to leave you alone

when you need a moment to breathe

So just talk to me, please

Allow me to keep my sanity

I want to know what's going on

so that I am not living in mystery
