Talking
It’s never been something I’ve thought about
Never something that was dreamed about
Something I had envisioned in my head,
But nothing I could have even imagined to understand
There’s something about the persona of this occurrence
That makes the peace inside me resonate so clearly
Though now it is over I have become slightly sad,
Knowing though that I at least had the chance
It’s hard when it dwells in your body
When, it’s something you think of more than constantly
Something to keep you from sleeping at night
And for what cost, but remembering you had such a great time
I can’t really describe it, but it isn’t something that has to be complicated
It’s just a thing that has happened, and has hope to once again be related
For this was so desirable that nothing else should be on your mind
Your family, could not be on your mind,
Nor even a worry to care for, would be on your mind
To cherish our time is my only honor
And I ask of you more than just again, that you can share your daughter
Because she is the mystery of what makes me my own
And a beautiful being that has come and changed me so
I cherished our time from within time that winds
Down to the core of my body, and I only long for more
If languages could just be thought within heads
And we could communicate that we don’t care if any thought’s spread
This is so true for what has come, and everything that is known between two humans young
For even just the simplest sip can take the stray out of your walk
And get you drunk beyond the capability to talk
Funny words are exchanged between two mouths
Nothing funnier that what is spoken in the south
And in any sort of brokenness it’s easy to recover
Don’t worry because it’s not like we’re speaking blabber
It’s nothing out of the ordinary, nothing beyond friends,
but know that it is extraordinary, and I don’t want it to end
That something like this should even happen
And nothing can change it, nothing could happen
And it is so interesting to know what is interesting
There isn’t a feeling of knowing what could be entering
From top to bottom a sense of kindness and belonging
Knowing that someone is here to hear you whispering
And from the kindling of a mind to come
To enter from the time time is done
To end with the knowing that God is real
I can’t explain what has come to me in this appeal
But one thing is certain, and this I can tell you the truth
And that is that I loved this, and I loved talking to you
