The Talking Class

I got a B because I didn't talk.

I didn't talk like you wanted me too.

My voice...pushed out by others

and forgotten.

My words lost in an endless sea

of the words repeated by the "talkers."

The same ideas beat down to nothingness...

just for the sake of talking.

This wasn't a class for new ideas...

like you once told us...

this was an endless page of words.

Words with no meaning.

This class was just a talking class.

You said speak three times...

and bring to the table new ideas.

I brought to your table three new ideas...

and I got a B in the class for not talking.
