Talking With Death

Take my hand and walk with me
I can be your friend when no one else is
I can be there

So appealing and intriguing
Welcoming you into their world
offering the love you don’t receive

Yet how can something so dark and evil be so lovely and inviting

What are you waiting for
Come with me if you want to be free

I want to
I really do

You reach for the hand of death
You let it take you away
Fading into the darkness

Into a peaceful unconscious state of mind

Gone
