Talking heads

Proverbs 26:11 New English Translation (NET Bible)

11 Like a dog that returns to its vomit,
so a fool repeats his folly.

Talking heads

Liberalism and mental conditioning

If I had a TV out here I would select a popular news channel

They have a few characters at night who appear to be all wet

They would release my fears and mail me a pair of flannels

So that in their world of sugar and spice I can chew the fat

The one who really strikes me seems in mental slicker suit

A liberal at heart, it seems, lost in his own state of smog

He thinks that being free is doing what you want too

And so be redeemed somehow from being mentally clogged

He claims to be an “American” whatever that means to him

He always is complaining from his chosen in a segregated maze

Well most seem he says is like a fluke and chances are very slim

That this cackling “parrot” will return from outer-space
