Talking with my pain

you see
my life isn’t no fairytale
it isn’t no wishing well
you can’t just throw in a coin
then make three wishes
you can’t be less then a man
we gotta take the time to just follow oir list
come follow me into the light
my bucket list has been fool for along while
ever since I was just a little boy it’s been piling up
I’m in it for the long run
until the end until my soul smiles
all I got left is this ink in my pen
using it to write down these words
molding it to take my notes
blank paper to tell it all
opening up to let it all out
i been yelling at my pain
my heart is starting to choke
tell me if you can see why I been trying to cope
I’ve been smoking my lungs away
I been crying my eyes out
using these drugs for more
not for just a head change
it’s really to keep me going on
dear father god
how can you say follow the commandments
knowing that  people ignore it all
when it comes to passion
there isn’t nothing better then true love
