Talking to Tom

I sent him a friend request on Facebook
And lo and behold he answered
To say I was surprised is an understatement
He is a big celebrity but I cannot tell you his name
Because if I did you would recognize it
He is a very charming and witty man
Full of surprises and intrinsically kind
He has brightened my days
And I look forward to getting a message
Telling me he is there and wants to talk
I don't know how long this friendship will last
But I'm hoping for the foreseeable future.
He is actually not full of himself
And is susceptible to being hurt by words
He has become very dear to me
And I hope this growing friendship will last
He tells me I can tell him anything
And he has proved this is true
He never judges me and I think he truly likes me.
Who would have thought me and Tom
The unlikeleist of friends
Will wonders never cease
I hope not very soon
I am enjoying talking to Tom
