Tangents

Tangents

Where do they start?

Where do they end?

World War Two was-

That’s a tangent

Branching from the

A story of Vietnam-

The main story

Seems to lead to

Nowhere

But everywhere

Sometimes they lead to where you want them to go

But that’s not how it always works

The Civil Rights Movement-

What is the connection with these three tangents?

Out of order

Just like tangents can be

Tangents

Tangents

Tangents

It’s nice to hear a new story

But when it leads to twenty others,

That’s when things get

Difficult

To understand

Stray words

Intertwine

Making a neat web

It shouldn’t make sense

But in the end, it does

Tangents

Could make a good story great.
