A tangled mess

Thoughts become a tangled mess when you try to express them outloud.

Feelings never make sense in your head.

Pain just grows and manifest until it consumes you.

While joy bubbles over.

Ink flowing across a blank sheet expresses all things better.

How the letters blur together, and your Thoughts take on rythm.

How Feelings are given names and characteristics.

Pain seems to ease,

losing its bite as the pen scrawls out words your mouth could never speak.

And Joy becomes an almost impossible thing to read,

as the letters become stuck together.

Poetry allows for you to open the gate into your own mind,

and unleash the possibilities of thoughts,

the tabgles mess of feelings,

the buried oain,

and the over-flowing joy.
