"Taste of a dream"

The smell of red... I imagine its taste is akin to the zig zag pattern splashed upon my blanket Lonely&Broken is the over powering fragrance I now hear when I think of you Waking up to another orange day with that same white wall of hell desperately missing the nickelodeon of you and I There, the gentle touch of your voice is all to tangible your beauty, spread across my palm as if I deserve to hold you Rays of reality shine threw the thunder cloud of my dream, reminding me you were never unfeigned Pockets cry out when alone unwanted baggage ripping away at their seams Jealous of the autumn trees they're ever so close to becoming someone new They must give up first, let go and admit to their mistakes of the past With the wind playing narrator, I stop...reaching for a handful of colored words to only come back with nothing So I retreat to the zig-zag blanket and white wall that hurt me so Closing my eyes so I can be with you once again
