The taste of "medicine"
Oh! How death calls her name.
Yet, she calls out to him, just the same.
Oh! How time is fleeting fast in my eyes.
Yet, time is unbearably slow in hers, she cries.
Mother! Has hope been lost?
I see how your smile is gone, and heart exhaust.
Mother! What do you yearn for?
I see how you cling your pills, even when they dry your core.
Oh! How death draws near.
He creeps up to your door, but you shead no tear.
Oh! Damn those pills that take you from me.
But alas, it was your choice, and now you choose to be free.
